Meet Trixie

Hi there… I’m Trixie I’m 13 years young, a mixed-breed sweetheart with a soft heart and a slower step than I used to have—but plenty of love left to give. I had a family once, and I loved them very much. When my person passed away, there wasn’t a plan for me, so I found myself waiting… and hoping… for another place to belong. I’m very good at belonging. I’m a polite lady—I’m fully housetrained, spayed, and all my shots are up to date. I even had my senior blood work done and got a thumbs-up from the vet. I know how to live in a home, because that’s where I shine. At night, I like to sleep in the bed with you. I promise I don’t take up that much room, and I’m very warm. I get along nicely with other dogs and even cats. I don’t make a fuss—I just like good company. Car rides are one of my favorite things; I’ll hop in and quietly watch the world go by, happy just to be included. I’m not looking for anything fancy. Just a soft place to land, a gentle hand, and someone who won’t mind an old girl leaning in close. If you’ve got room in your heart (and maybe your bed), I’m ready to come home. Love, Trixie
