Meet Cookie Boo

Meet Cookie, an 8-year-old brown Pit Bull mix with a loving heart who’s ready to find her forever home. She’s up to date on all vaccinations, fixed, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. Cookie is wonderful with kids and will love and protect them like her own. She can be selective with other dogs and would do best with a proper introduction, and she is not good with cats. She came back to the humane society through no fault of her own after a change in her family situation, and she’s hoping for a second chance at a stable, loving home. Cookie does have protein-losing enteropathy, which means her protein levels run low. She does well with a special diet that includes extra protein to help keep her healthy. As a senior, Cookie is looking for a calm, caring home where she can relax and be part of the family again. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Cookie could be the perfect fit.
