Meet Honey - Foster to Adopt
READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE APPLYINGHoney is a 7yearold F1B Goldendoodle rescued from a puppy mill. She has been with us for five and a half years and is considered one of our Sanctuary Dogs, though we would love to find her the right adoptive home. Honey bonds more easily with women, prefers to be the only dog, and thrives in a quiet, predictable environment. Once she trusts someone, she is incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate to that person. She will go to her new home on a 30day trial to ensure it’s the right fit for everyone. Temperament: Calm, gentle, deeply bonded to her person; not social with strangers Guests: May keep distance; has occasionally nipped ankles when startled or protective Other Pets: Must be the only pet; does not play with other dogs or cats Children: No children due to the possibility of nipping Daily Life: Groomed every two months; rides well in the car; fearful of leash walks Home Needs: Secure fenced yard; someone home during the day; sitter must come to the home for vacations Behavior: No anxiety; trustworthy, loose in the house; does not chew or get into things, will be scared at first.
