Meet Stella (and Frankie)

Frankie and Stella are two 7 1/2 year-old sister Basset hounds that came to OBHR after their owner had to go into an assisted living home. Whereas we would like to keep them adopted together, we know that is not always a possibility and can separate them if need be. Both are house trained and completely vetted and ready for new homes! Stella can have a little bit of food aggression but other than that both dogs are fine! They are not cat friendly. They are currently being fostered east of Columbus area. Their adoption fees are $300 each. Adoption Process: To meet one our dogs you must first fill out our application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Upon approval you will be given an approval code to email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Approvals are good for 6 months for any current or future dogs. After 6 months you will be directed to fill out an updated application. Please note we only process applications where the adopter lives in OH, IN, KY, PA, WV, lower MI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet the dog they are adopting. Dogs locations are listed on their profile description on our website. Dogs are NOT all located in Brookville, that is our mailing address. Please understand we are all volunteers and will respond as soon as we can as we all have jobs and family obligations.
