Meet Rita
Meet Rita! Rita is a beautiful 7-year-old Heeler/Shepherd mix weighing approximately 50 pounds who is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a loving family. She was found as a stray off Amherst Drive in Rockwall on 06/29/26, and sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Now, Rita is hoping for her second chance leads to a forever home. Rita is a sweet, friendly girl who enjoys the company of other dogs. If you already have a canine companion, we encourage a meet and greet prior to adoption to ensure everyone is a good match. With her calm maturity and gentle nature, Rita is ready to leave her days of uncertainty behind and become a loyal companion to a family who will love her for the rest of her life. Rita's adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, current core vaccinations, and heartworm test. Her spay is scheduled for Wednesday, 07/08/26, and this appointment is non-negotiable as part of her adoption. If you're looking for a faithful companion who still has so much love to give, Rita may be the perfect addition to your family.
