Meet Murdock
I am a male, black and white Mixed Breed mix. Age: My age is unknown. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jun 26, 2026.Murdock is an 8-year-old, 62-pound gentleman who suddenly found himself looking for a new home after his owner could no longer care for pets. His previous owner describes him as laid back, affectionate, and happiest when he's spending time with his people. Murdock loves neck scratches, ear rubs, and belly rubs, and if you're lucky, he may even decide he's a lap dog—even though he's a little too big for that! This handsome guy was an indoor family companion who enjoyed several walks each day, playing with a ball, relaxing on his favorite yoga mat, and chewing on a Milk-Bone after a good day. He's house-trained, walks well on leash, and has lived comfortably with adult men and women. Murdock enjoys being petted, loves attention, and is ready to trade the shelter for a soft bed and a family to call his own. Like many dogs, he has a few funny quirks. Windshield wipers make him nervous, and sometimes he forgets just how big he is when he wants to be close to his people! He sees himself as a lap dog! If you're looking for a mature dog who already knows how to be a companion, Murdock would love to meet you. Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S Airport Rd Inverness FL 34450, ID# 60717341
