Meet Oliver
Can we get an awooo for Oliver? We can’t help but adore his husky charm—even if he thinks we’re moving just a little too slow in the morning when it’s time to get out and start the day! Oliver is full of personality, and he makes sure everyone around him knows it. From his soft “awoos,” to his gentle greetings, to his signature move of wanting to be half inside and half outside no matter the weather—he keeps life fun, every single day. Oliver is a social, confident guy who doesn’t have a shy bone in his body. He’s happy to meet just about anyone and is always ready to be part of the action. Whether you’re coming in for a visit or heading out for an adventure, Oliver is along for the ride. He also has some really lovely manners. Oliver appears to be potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and knows the cues sit and down—though sometimes you might even get an “awoo” when you ask for a sit! At 11 years old, Oliver is at that tough shelter age where many dogs are overlooked, but you’d never know it by his spirit. He brings so much joy and energy to every day, and he reminds us that age is just a number when it comes to a dog’s heart for life. Oliver has been friendly and easygoing around other dogs. He’s happy to say hello and also content to do his own thing, making him a nice “no drama” kind of guy. We are more than happy to provide a dog meet and greet prior to adoption if needed. Oliver’s charm is what won us over from the start—and we have a feeling it won’t take long for it to win you over too.
