Meet LOUIE
Louie was found as a stray with no microchip and no ID tag, so there was no way to notify a possible family. He appeared on our website like all strays do, but no one came for him. Now he is officially ready to go home, and at just 10.20 pounds, he will always be a little dog — perfect for anyone who loves small companions. He is 8 years young and ready to make the rest of his life the best of his life. Louie came in with other canine friends and got along great. They have all found their forever homes, and now it’s his turn. He loves to be held and would make a wonderful lap companion. If you’re looking for a snuggly, gentle little friend, he is exactly that. Because he was a stray, we do not know how he does with cats and cannot test for this. We always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit. We are a first-come, first-served, in-person adoption center located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC.His adoption fee is $80, but now through Saturday, June 27, it is only $40.All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters will need to establish veterinary care after adoption to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. Adoption hours: Monday–Friday: 12–5 PMSaturday: 11 AM–2 PMPlease bring a collar and leash, or purchase a combo from us for $15 to safely take your new family member home.
