Meet Birdie
Meet Birdie! She is an 8 year old, 7 pound miniature poodle. Birdie is a sweet, affectionate little dog who enjoys nothing more than spending time with her favorite people. Whether she's curled up in a lap, snuggled on the couch, or simply relaxing nearby, she is happiest when she can be close to those she loves. Birdie is looking for a calm, loving home where she can be a cherished companion and devoted friend. At just 7 pounds, Birdie is the perfect size for cuddling. She loves receiving affection, relaxing on the porch, and spending time in the yard. Despite her small size, she's surprisingly athletic and can easily jump onto the couch and bed. Birdie is doing wonderfully in her foster home and continues to gain confidence every day. She enjoys short walks, walks well on a leash, and continues to gain confidence around people and other dogs she passes along the way. She has also done well with visitors, choosing to stay close to her person and quietly observe until she feels comfortable. Birdie is house trained when kept on a regular schedule and does well going outside every 3–4 hours. She knows sit, stay, and come, sleeps quietly through the night in her pen, and has done well when left alone for a few hours. Birdie can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, so she will thrive with an adopter who understands that some dogs need time to settle in and build trust. With patience, consistency, and love, she continues to blossom and show more of her sweet personality every day. If you're looking for a loving little companion who will happily share your couch, accompany you on leisurely walks, and be your constant friend, Birdie may be the perfect match. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.
