Meet Gwen NJ

Gwen is a sweet 14–15-year-old Chihuahua mix whose world was turned upside down through no fault of her own. When her owner lost his home, he did everything he could to keep his beloved pets with him, even living in his car. But as the weather became hotter, he made the heartbreaking and selfless decision to surrender them so they could be safe, comfortable, and have the chance to find loving homes again. She enjoys being around people, is house trained, and gets along with cats. While she can coexist with other dogs, Gwen would likely be happiest as the only dog in her forever home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. Like many Chihuahuas, Gwen tends to form a strong bond with one special person. Gwen is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. At her age, she isn't asking for much—just a soft bed, a patient heart, and a family willing to give this deserving senior the happy ending she's been waiting for.
