Meet Karen
This beautiful sweet little 25lb lady is Karen. She's 7 yrs old with plenty of spunk. Karen doesn't do well being an only dog or being left alone for long periods of time. A work from home or retired adopter would be best for Karen. She's housebroken or will use potty pads if necessary. She's not a fan of a crate, no need to crate her at night she's a great snuggle bunny. Karen loves to be with her people on a lap or lying beside you on a sofa. Karen has come a long way in confidence and trust after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Karen needs time to warm up to new people, give her a few minutes and lots of treats and she'll be your best friend. Karen walks well on a leash but still needs a fenced in yard to chase squirls and run around in, if Karen sounds like a good fit for your family fill out an application to meet her. If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www. NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Karen’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
