Meet ROCKY
Meet ROCKY, our sweet senior Labrador mix At 8 years old, Rocky never imagined he’d end up alone in a shelter, lying on a cold floor, confused and heartbroken. He doesn’t understand what happened or why he lost the life he once knew—but he’s holding onto hope for a second chance. Rocky is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He is about 45 lbs. He does well with other dogs with proper introductions and would thrive in a patient, loving home. Like many dogs who’ve been through trauma, Rocky experiences some separation anxiety, but with time, consistency, and reassurance, he will learn he’s safe and won’t be abandoned again. We believe Rocky may have experienced abuse in the past, particularly from a male figure, so he can be a bit nervous around some men. With gentle guidance and understanding, Rocky shows just how sweet and loving he truly is. This boy has been through so much, and all he wants now is a calm, secure home where he can finally relax and be loved the way he deserves. If you’re interested in adopting or fostering to adopt Rocky, please contact the rescue. If you want, I can make a shorter Instagram version or add hashtags to help him get more visibility .
