Meet Shelly
Little Miss Shelly came to us as a stray from Oakland Animal Services. From the minute she arrived to the sanctuary, Shelly has been a joyful and curious girl with plenty of spunk. She enjoys human affection and loves belly rubs! Shelly is a confident girl who knows what she wants. She even chose her own name after arriving to Lily’s with a temporary name that didn’t quite suit her. After testing several names, someone yelled “Shelly” and she turned her head and ran happily towards the caller. So Shelly it was! Shelly walks well on leash and loves to go out on sniffaris. After getting her outside time, she loves her time in the Lily’s barn, hanging on the couches and getting lots of cuddles. Shelly has made several doggy friends at Lily’s and is great at adjusting her play level according to each dog. She’s a playful and enthusiastic girl who is a good listener and is always down to go with the flow…as long as she gets her allotment of belly rubs! Shelly is a fun and loyal companion looking for a forever home to call her own.
