Sweet Boy George is a 10 year old beagle looking for his forever home. When he first came into rescue three years ago, he was a sweet boy with some anxiety and insecurities. Thanks to the love, patience, and dedication of his adopter, George has blossomed into a confident, happy companion. He has received excellent medical and dental care and has made tremendous progress along the way. George truly loves everyone he meets! He enjoys car rides, is fully house-trained, and is perfectly content snoozing on a nice cool floor after a short stroll. While he'll happily join you for a walk, George definitely prefers air conditioning over the Florida heat! George's owner reports that he still has some insecurities when left alone, so he would likely do best in a home where people are around often and/or where he has canine companions to keep him company. He has lived successfully with other dogs, gets along well with cats, and children don't bother him one bit—in fact, he loves all the attention he can get! And if you happen to have a snack in your pocket, George will be your best friend forever. This food-motivated gentleman is always ready to earn a treat.
