Meet Boomer

Boomer is 6 years old (DOB: 10/7/19). She is a light brown/brindle colored, female Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix. Boomer is a friendly sweetheart. She is good with people, but may need older children, rather than toddlers or younsters. Boomer is dog friendly too. She is getting some leash training and loves to go on walks. When the weather is warm, Boomer enjoys a good romp in a doggie pool, to stay cool and have fun. Boomer is presently with a foster family getting house training, some command training, and lots of love and attention. She sure loves her doggie bed. You can call the shelter to make an appointment to meet Boomer. She wants a 'forever' home. Amarillo SPCA can be reached at 806-622-0555. Open Tues.-Sat. from 12 to 5 p.m. Shelter location is: 11901 S. Coulter.
