Meet Helga
Meet Helga!! Helga is a beautiful 9-year-old, 75-pound German Shepherd/Malinois mix with a loyal heart and a big personality. Like many dogs of her breeds, she forms strong bonds with her people and thrives when she has structure, activity, and guidance. Helga enjoys staying active and would love a home that can keep her engaged with daily walks, games of fetch, and tug-of-war. She's highly food-motivated, making her eager to learn and easy to reward. One of her favorite things in the world is receiving belly rubs from the people she knows and trusts! This lovely girl is fully potty trained and sleeps soundly through the night. She would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. Helga is looking for an adult home, or one with older children, that can provide the consistency and positive social experiences she needs to continue building confidence and being her best self. Helga's adoption fee is $300. A refundable $100 training deposit is also required at the time of adoption. Training should be completed within a timely manner to help Helga continue thriving as a wonderful canine companion. The deposit will be refunded within three months of the adoption date upon completion of training requirements. Please note: Helga is available for local adoption only and a home visit is required.
