Meet Roxy
Hi, my name is Roxy! I'm a sweet senior girl (9+ years old) looking for a very special home to spend my golden years. I do have some joint issues that affect my gait, so I'll likely need to stay on supplements and/or pain medication for the rest of my life. In return, I promise to give you all the love I have. I can be a little shy at first and need some time to warm up to new people. Because of this, we'll take introductions slowly initial visits are best done outdoors where I feel more comfortable. I will need a few visits before going home so I can build trust and feel safe, and we ask everyone in the household to come meet me during this process. I would do best in a calm, quiet home. Because I can be a bit sensitive and need a slower approach, I'm looking for a home with older, respectful children or adults only. I may be happiest as the only pet, but I could also do well with mellow, easygoing furry companions. At the shelter, I'm a very calm and easygoing girl. Give me a warm blanket and a cozy place to rest, and I'm perfectly content. Once I trust you, I'm incredibly loving-and I'm so worth the patience it takes to get there. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for a senior in need, I'd love to meet you.
